Black Widow in Black and White

Black Widow. These black and white superheroes are not meant to be anything but quick studies in the dark. They are flawed, but it's intentional. It's all about getting a point across with minimal work. I'm relying on my inner voice to tell me, "Done." Then it's done. Period. I love this process, and this painting.

Thor in Black and White

The second image in my "Superheroes in Black and White" theme. This whole thing is new for me, many paintings following the same theme. It's also an exercise in speed. I want to paint these images fast, while keeping the essence that makes these characters who they are.
