Sidewalk Uncle Sam

I drew this today on the sidewalk in front of my house. I had been wanting to try a sidewalk painting for a while now. No rain expected for a few days at least.

Update: It rained.

Spock

This is Spock. I drew it out with a 4H pencil, and then just outlined it with a Faber-Castell brush pen. Those things are great. I think I'm going to go stock up on those.

The Thing

This is the Thing, from the Fantastic Four. I deliberately drew him slimmer than I usually do, just for kicks. Cuz I can do that.

Nicholas Cage

It's just a loose colored pencil sketch I did of the actor Nicholas Cage. I like it.

Hope

This is a big painting, about three by four feet. I did this shortly after 9/11. I know it may look a little overly-patriotic, but it was really intended to capture the mood of the country during that moment in history. I hated all the flag-waving of the time, but I like how people will begin dusting themselves off and reach out to help others and rebuild after disaster strikes.

Desmond Hume

Hey, here's another "Lost" character, Desmond.

Purple Dog's World

Hey, it's Purple Dog! I think I was kind of in a playful mood when I did this, and look what I spewed out! You just can't be angry when you look at Purple Dog. He is the harbinger of world peace! Bow to Purple Dog!
